Mission

The Honorable William H. Webster co-founded the nonpartisan and nonpolitical 501(c)(3) nonprofit National Economic Security Alliance (NESA) nearly 20 years ago.  On forming the NESA Judge Webster stated:  “America’s economic security is the num-ber one national security issue our country faces today and for the foreseeable future. Without sustainable economic security our nation can never achieve true national security.”  This quote from Judge Webster is the very foundation of NESA’s mission which intensely focuses on safeguarding the economic security of America.

Judge Webster passed away on August 8, 2025, at the age of 101. He served this nation for seven decades under every presi-dent from Franklin Delano Roosevelt to Joe Biden with integrity, courage and humility. Our staff, board of directors and advisory board are deeply saddened by the loss of this incredible icon, friend and mentor.   He served as Chairman Emeritus of the NESA’s Board of Director and Chairman of our advisory board from our founding until his passing. His insights and guidance have played a significant role in the NESA’s programs and pro-jects. We have been incredibly lucky to have had the oppor-tunity to work closely with Judge Webster all these years. Ameri-ca lost one of the most revered leaders that this country has ever known.
