Awards Considerations

Awards Considerations

  • An organizing committee has been established to assist in guiding the award program and generating philanthropic support to ensure the award program and the annual awards ceremony will be consistent with the prestigious nature of the award.

  • Separate awards may be considered at the Federal level as well as at the State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial Level for each award category.

  • Each Awards Committee will consider individuals deserving of this prestigious recognition and, after a vote, the Committee Chair will forward their recommendation to the Awards Program Coordinator/Organizing Committee Chair.

  • Awards may not necessarily be given in each category and/or subcategory annually.

  •  Awards will be bestowed on an annual basis. Honorees will receive their awards at a ceremony to be held in the Washington D.C. Metro area.
